Multifamily Partners, L.L.C. (“MPI”) is a fully discretionary, "core-plus" institutional equity fund and the firm's exclusive vehicle for multifamily investments. MPI invests primarily in multifamily assets with attractive income growth potential.  The fund also selectively targets value-added and development opportunities. Investments are pursued through (i) one-off acquisitions; (ii) portfolio or entity transactions; and/or (iii) development projects. The anticipated holding period for each investment is five to seven years and MPI seeks to earn 12% net returns for investors.

MPI acquires 100% fee simple interests, equal control partial interests or debt positions that may lead to an ownership position in the near-term. Pearlmark has extensive experience in recapitalizing existing assets with institutional and non-institutional owners seeking liquidity, capital solutions or tax deferral.

The executive team has acquired over 49,000 apartment units and will be led by Doug Crocker, former CEO of Equity Residential ("EQR").
