Thomas M. McCahill is a Managing Director of Pearlmark Real Estate Partners, L.L.C. Mr. McCahill is responsible for all investment origination and portfolio management activities and for all aspects of the firm’s operations.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. McCahill was a Managing Director of MMA Financial, responsible for business strategy and execution, new business development, resource allocation and compensation for MMA's funds management group. He also served on MMA's investment committee. Previously, Mr. McCahill spent over 25 years at MONY Life, most recently as President of MONY Realty Capital where he directed a staff of more than 50 professionals in five regional offices and the management of over $2 billion in real estate debt and equity investments. Under Mr. McCahill’s leadership, the real estate group developed a number of investment programs, including MONY’s construction-to-permanent loan program, its securitized lending operation and its mezzanine and B-Note Value Fund.
Mr. McCahill has served as Adjunct Professor of Real Estate at the University of Colorado and is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA). Mr. McCahill received his Master of Science degree in Real Estate Finance from the University of Wisconsin, where he also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.
